AC and DC Voltage Testers Kit for Emergency Rescue Service Workers

The world's first genuine DC non-touch voltage tester and AC tester with hotstick attachment in metal case.

See All Electrical Safety Products

The need to determine live or dead power is critical for first responders at an incident involving electricity. The AG Safety Fire and Rescue DC50 genuinely allows personnel to test for DC electrical fields. In an emergency, the DC50 delivers safety, swiftness and certainty.

Designed and tested for the emergency rescue services the DC50 works quickly and easily for your safety. Simply point the tester at a potentially live DC source to determine if there is voltage present. The sound it makes will alert you to danger without any need for physical contact. The DC50 is capable of detecting DC voltages from 50 to over 1,000,000 volts.

  1. Never submerge in water. If fully submerged, moisture could enter the enclosure and damage detection sensors leading to reduced warning distances or failure to detect a “live” voltage.
  2. Keep out of contact with any chemical substance.
  3. Avoid high heat and high moisture areas.

DC Detector

AG-DC50 Non-Contact Voltage Detector for Fire & Rescue

The Fire and Rescue DC50 Non-contact DC Voltage Detector is for emergency service workers. Get within reaching distance of the power source, open the case, remove detector, attach the detector to an extension stick if required, ground the detector on the case to remove any static electricity, point the detector at the potential threat, if the device activates do not proceed. The detector can be used by untrained electrical personnel, where non-touch was vital.

  1. Tester includes batteries and charger, padded hard metal carry case, and air pump.
  2. Specifically designed for direct current detection in rescue environments.
  3. Senses voltage from 50 to ∞ VDC.
  4. Eight sensitivity settings for more voltage range.

Determine the Hazard
When time is critical, our voltage detectors give first responders the confidence to go in and save lives faster with the knowledge that there is no live power.

Tried and Trusted
AG Safety’s innovative voltage detectors advance the safety of all personnel working around electricity by identifying the electrical risk without contact.

Have a Detector on the Truck
It’s the key to your safety. Compact and easy-to-use non-contact detectors activate in the presence of a voltage threat.

Setting World Standards
When the US developed industry standards for non-contat voltage detectors in 2017, they referenced the inventors of the DC50.

World’s First Non-Contact DC Detector
Launching non-contact detectors has revolutionized safety in direct current environments from fifty to over a million DC volts. No one else offers a true DC non-contact detector.

No Qualifications Required
Non-electrical personnel can easily be trained to operate the DC50 safely and expertly
